Ms. Laudato has over twelve years of private equity investment experience across multiple strategies including buyout, distressed and special situations, and growth/expansion. She is active in a wide range of private equity activities. Ms. Laudato is a Board Member of the CFA Society of Washington, DC and leads CFAW's private equity programming. She participates in BALPA and the Ohio Roundtable, groups of institutional investors in Baltimore and Ohio, respectively. For the Institutional Limited Partners Association, she led a research study on Best Practices for Tracking and Verification of Capital Accounts and participated in a study of targeted programs, including state and emerging manager programs. She
led an Institutional Limited Partners Association â€œILPAâ€ research study on Best Practices for Tracking and Verification of Capital Accounts. She serves as a panelist on industry conferences such as the Wharton Private Equity Conference, Buyouts and Super Return.
Ms. Laudato helps establish investment criteria. She focuses on manager identification and sourcing, due diligence, and risk analysis. Prior to joining Hauser Capital Partners (HCP) and Hauser Private Equity (HPE), Ms. Laudato served at the Small Business Administration (SBA) where she managed a portfolio of private equity, mezzanine and venture funds with more than $2 billion in SBA commitments. Her earlier career included more than twelve years of international consulting, focused on development of small business and international trade, in the Middle East and Asia for Chemonics International and Booz-Allen & Hamilton.
Ms. Laudato received her CFA Charter in 2002, took the Accredited Valuation Analyst course in 2003, and attended the Venture Capital Institute in 2000. She received her MBA from University of the Philippines in Manila and her BA from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
